Welcome!

Fr. Hugh Davoren
C. S. Sp.

Rev. John Hague,
Deacon

The Parish of All Saints and English Martrys belongs to the Catholic Diocese of Nottingham. The Parish comprises two churches: All Saints in Hassop, and English Martyrs in Bakewell. The resident priest, Fr. Hugh Davoren, lives in the presbytery adjacent to All Saints church. Rev. John Hague lives with his family near Bakewell. Our parishioners come from the towns and villages around Bakewell, which is situated in the Peak District National Park.

Our Mission Statement

As a Christian family, we will meet and celebrate the Holy Eucharist on the first day of the week. We will care for and support each other. We will strive to be good examples of our Christian faith, and show our commitment to that faith in our daily lives. In love we will support and participate with other Christian Churches in and around Bakewell, and endeavour to further the Catholic Church in the area.
